A gondola cabin fell at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, B.C., on Monday, prompting the resort to shut down all lifts and close for the day.

Social media posts indicate the cabin was carrying several passengers when the incident occurred.
No injuries were reported.
Kicking Horse says its patrol team and first responders quickly responded to the scene.
“Our trained maintenance team is evacuating the passengers as per standard operating procedure,” the resort said. “A full inspection has been initiated to determinate and analyze root causes.
The Golden Eagle Express gondola will remain closed until further notice, the resort said.
The incident comes after a major dump of snow in the area, with Kicking Horse receiving 23 cm of snowfall since Sunday.
