A expert has listed the and food she plans to plant this year as begins. Chloe Plumstead talked about how she plans to improve on last year’s attempt and why she has chosen each variety.

“March would not be March without sewing some cosmos,” she said. But this year, Chloe is “trying to be more strict” with her varieties this time after ending up with “nine million” plants last year. The types she has chosen this year are Apricotta and Apricot Lemonade. Also being sewn this year are Double Dutch Roses, another type of cosmo. They are “so frilly and so pretty”, Chloe says. “Okay, now the bit that you actually came for,” the TikToker adds. “Let’s talk tomatoes.” This year, she is planting the Black Moon variety, as well as Tumbling Toms for hanging baskets. These are “a great option if you’re limited on space”.

Next, Chloe is also planting Black Beauty tomatoes, and the “classic” Roma variety. These are “great for making pasta sauces and things like that”, the gardener notes.

She adds: “March is also bean month.”

Chloe starts by mentioning Shiraz Mangetout, which is a “pretty” purple colour on the plant. This fades when you cook them. The plant also has “lovely” purple flowers.

The yellow Dwarf Bean is being sewed in the garden, too. These are also “pretty”.

In the notes for video, Chloe notes that she is also sewing borage, a herb, and Marigolds.

In an earlier video, Chloe lists other foods she is sewing this month.
