Emmerdale legend’s exit ‘sealed’ as he faces jail following ‘mistake’

Emmerdale’s Marlon Dingle, played by Mark Charnock, was left wracked with guilt in Monday’s episode (March 10) after his actions put a life in danger.

Last week, Marlon and Rhona Goskirk (Zoë Henry), took in homeless Dylan (Fred Kettle), at the request of their daughter April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan).

However, it soon became apparent that Dylan needed professional help as he battled withdrawal symptoms from spice.

Despite April’s attempts to help her friend overcome his drug addiction, Marlon grew concerned that the teenager was taking on too much following the stillbirth of her daughter.

In a recent visit to the village, Ross Barton (Michael Parr), and April had a heart-to-heart about addiction.

Ross shared his own experience with painkiller addiction in an effort to convince April that Dylan needed more help than she could provide.

But when Ross misspoke, April assumed he didn’t care about Dylan and stormed off.

Later, Rhona discovered missing ketamine at the vets and suspected Dylan, causing a rift between him and April when the drugs were found in his coat pocket.

Marlon has caused a stir among viewers after his shocking actions led to Dylan being hospitalised.
