A secret paradise offering a one-of-a-kind beach with golden sands and endless picturesque sea views can be found right here in the UK.

Known as Skrinkle Haven beach, this paradise is located to the south-east of Manorbier Village and sits between Old Castle Head and Lydstep Point.

This expansive stretch of the Pembrokeshire coastline offers the ultimate tranquillity and is a remote escape world away from the more popular and busy Tenby.

Skrinkle Haven beach is located about one mile south-east of Manorbier and six miles from Tenby. It is a slightly larger bay than its neighbour Church Doors Cove.

Skrinkle Haven and Church Doors are two separate coves separated by a thin limestone ridge and owned by the National Park.

The site was once part of the Ministry of Defence missile testing range, which means it had limited access from the public for many years.

The travelling duo offered their advice for visitors looking to visit: “Park at the YHA car park – SA70 7TT and head down the steps to church door cove.

“Once here head to the rock face on the right and look for this opening. Thank me later”.

@Adventure.amore also warns those visiting Skrinkle Haven that, if the tide is in, you will not be able to access the beach.

Adding: “Likewise if the tide comes in you will not be able to get back so be careful.”

According to , to visit the stunning beach you will need to make your way down with the use of steep steps that come with a note of caution.

For those less able, the site advises visiting a picturesque picnic site at the top of the pathway that offers picture-perfect sights over the bay.

A TripAdvisor review added a caution too, adding: “Very steep long steps to reach the beach but worth it.

“Also found a gap in cliffs that took you through to another beach, this is not ideal for everyone though.”
