The three-year-old is pictured sat on Harry’s lap, with the proud dad sweetly kissing his daughter on her head. However, fans were quick to spot one “dangerous” detail in the seemingly heartfelt picture – Lilibet is not wearing a lifejacket.

Some users branded Harry and Meghan’s parenting as “irresponsible”, while others pointed out that it is actually against the law.

California, where the couple resides with their two children, requires that every child under the age of 13 must wear a life jacket at all times while on a moving vessel of any length.

In a post that has since gone viral, one fan commented: ” and are so good at showing the world how much they suck at being parents.”

Another wrote: “How irresponsible. Even pet owners put life vests on their pets when riding in boats.”

Also noting that Lilibet should be wearing a lifejacket, another wrote: ‘She [Lilibet] should ABSOLUTELY have a life vest on.”
