A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the chest outside Jenny’s Bar in Liverpool city centre. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday (March 9) morning, around 2:30 am, when the victim managed to make his way to McDonald’s in Clayton Square, seeking help for his injuries.

Merseyside Police and other emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, where the young man received treatment for a small puncture wound before being discharged from the hospital. The attack is believed to have taken place on Fenwick Street and involved several males. Authorities are now conducting a thorough investigation to find those responsible, reports .

Chief Inspector Andy Hughes has issued a statement, saying: “Thankfully the injured man was discharged from hospital earlier this morning, but clearly this incident could have been much worse and we are taking it extremely seriously.”

He added, “We are determined to find the people involved and establish the circumstances leading up to the incident. We are appealing for anyone with information to come forward so if you witnessed what happened, please let us know.”
