The US aerospace company Maxar has cut Ukraine’s access to satellite images following an explosive row between Zelensky and US President , Kyiv military sources have claimed.
Several users of the service claimed they could no longer access battlefield images upon “administrative request” by Maxar, according to Ukrainian media.
Ukrainian news website reports the disconnection was the result of Trump stopping the flow of intelligence to .
The satellite blackout applies to both government and personal users, the outlet reports.
Maxar has been approached for comment via email.

The firm has provided commercial satellite images for Ukrainian users showing the movement of Russian troops, and they’ve also been used to show the aftermath of attacks in the occupied territory and within , the outlet reports.
These images have also been a key resource for analysts covering the conflict.
It follows the explosive bust-up between Trump and Zelensky in the Oval Office on Friday, with appearing to be visibly rattled as Zelensky sought to communicate the threat poses to Europe and the US.
The meeting swiftly went downhill as Trump’s VP JD Vance piped up, accusing the Ukrainian President of being ungrateful for the billions of dollars in aid that Washington has provided to Kyiv since Putin’s invasion began in February 2020.
Trump joined in the claims of ingratitude and disrespect, despite Zelensky having thanked the US for backing Kyiv on dozens of occasions, including during an address to Congress in December 2022.

The apparent ambush and testy exchange that followed led to a planned press conference between the two leaders being cancleed, and a rare earth minerals deal that hopes can sustain Trump’s interest in the war-torn nation plight left unsigned.
Zelensky was reportedly asked to leave the President’s official residence after the spat, and Trump allies began claiming Zelensky should apologise – and even suggested he should be replaced in the interests of a swifter negotiation with Moscow.
