The Wheel of Time is returning to Amazon Prime Video very soon and after vanquishing Ishamael, played by Fares Fares, at season two’s conclusion, Rand, portrayed by Josha Stradowski, reunites with his companions in Falme and is officially recognized as the Dragon Reborn.
The new season is packed with mounting threats against the Light, amidst the division within the White Tower, the unchecked influence of the Black Ajah, and the resurgence of ancient adversaries in the Two Rivers. Simultaneously, the remaining Forsaken are hot on the Dragon’s heels.
Lanfear, played by Natasha O’Keeffe, finds herself at a crossroads in her relationship with Rand, and a critical choice between Light and Dark looms over them both. According to the synopsis: “As the ties to his past begin to unravel, and his corrupted power grows stronger, Rand becomes increasingly unrecognizable to his closest allies, Moiraine and Egwene.
“These powerful women, who started the series as teacher and student, must now work together to prevent the Dragon from turning to the Dark…no matter the cost.”
