The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo have been confirmed to join Neil Young as , but many fans have been left so disappointed they are calling it the “worst line-up ever”. Matty Healy’s band The 1975 will perform on the festival’s Friday show, while Canadian singer-songwriter Young will headline Saturday’s edition, and 22-year-old US singer Rodrigo will take the final Sunday slot.
Multi- winner Charli XCX, known for starting her ‘Brat summer’ phenomenon, will not top the bill but will play the Other Stage on Saturday night. The Prodigy, Biffy Clyro, Alanis Morrissette, Scissor Sisters, Wet Leg, and Wolf Alice are also performing on the same stage throughout the weekend. had already been confirmed for the coveted Legends slot on Sunday.

Following Thursday’s line-up reveal, hundreds of fans have rushed to social media to share their reactions, with some saying that the bill is so “awful” they won’t be watching.
One raged: “Three headline acts at Glastonbury I wouldn’t open the curtains to watch. Last year was a low bar but (Glastonbury organiser) Emily Eavis must be a limbo champion.”
Another joked: “Glastonbury lineup [laughing emojis]. I’d rather watch Castonbury.”
A third said: “Hahaha the 1975 headlining Glastonbury? I wouldn’t watch them if they were playing my garden!”
And a fourth moaned: “I want to go to Glastonbury but I fear I can’t put myself through that.”

Nevertheless, many have been complimentary and said they can’t wait for the iconic festival to return in June.
One wrote: “Love them or loathe them, I think it would be unfair to say The 1975 are not the biggest UK based band to be active over the last 10 years. They absolutely deserve to headline Glastonbury and if anything, they’re probably overdue.”
Another echoed: “Really happy for The 1975 headlining Glastonbury. Followed them since the EPs and they’ve since had five Number One Albums. They deserve it.”
While a third urged: “Every year like clockwork the Glastonbury line-up is announced and the timeline is just full of people moaning… shut up.”

Other acts this year include star JADE, hip hop artist Loyle Carner, rapper Doechii, Noah Kahan, Gracie Abrams, Busta Rhymes, Lola Young, Brandi Carlile, Gary Numan, Shaboozey and BRITs Rising Star recipient Myles Smith.
Glastonbury is set to take place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from June 25 to 29.
