Taco Bell has been cooking up quite a few things for 2025.
On March 5, the fast-food chain recapped Live Más Live, its livestreamed event which flashily announces its product plans for the coming year. Hosted by “Emily in Paris“ star Ashley Park, the event was held in Brooklyn Paramount Theater and touted the tasty future of Taco Bell.
The Tex-Mex-inspired chain also provided a peek into the crafty minds in its test kitchen — and its food innovation team revealed 13 different menu items that could be coming soon, including a Mexican Pizza Empanada, Poutine Fries and new sauces like Weak Knees Fire, Zab’s Hot Ranch and a Purple Chile Sauce made with Ají Panca, Habanero and Ghost Pepper chiles (which required a waiver to try at the event).
The chain also revealed new menus, customization options and 10 new items coming this year — including a deep purple riff on its iconic turquoise soda.
Nationwide menu additions
Taco Bell CMO Taylor Montgomery announced the new goodies coming to the chain in 2025, including customizations and limited-time menus:
- Luxe Cravings Boxes: In January, Taco Bell introduced the expansion of its Luxe Cravings Boxes to include $5, $7 and $9 versions.
- Caliente Cantina Chicken Menu: This limited-time twist on its Cantina Chicken Menu features an new Caliente Sauce made with red jalapeños.
- Decades Menu: Last October, Taco Bell dropped its first Decades Menu, which resurrected discontinued items for a limited time. In 2025, it’s doing the same thing with products that were on menus in the early 2000s and 2010s, including the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos and Double Decker Taco.
- Fan Style: App users will be able to create, name and share their unique menu customizations with friends and family with “Fan Style.” The chain is also “looking at ways” to give fans rewards points when someone else picks their Fan Style order.
