Melanie Lynskey’s Husband Hilariously Responds To Fans Who Are Lusting Over His Wife

Jessica Rabbit who?

Melanie Lynskey sauntered into the Vanity Fair Oscar Party Sunday night looking like a woman who would make Roger Rabbit — and apparently a good chunk of social media — say, “P-p-p-please marry me.”

Draped in an off-the-shoulder red Christian Siriano gown that hugged her curves, the “Yellowjackets” star looked so good that some fans of X, formerly Twitter, seemed legitimately distraught that she’s off the market.

Lynskey has been married to her husband, actor Jason Ritter, since 2020. The couple share a daughter.

But that didn’t stop some from expressing their thirst for the “But I’m a Cheerleader” star — and some fans took it a little too far.

I love Jason but I’m ready to fight

— CuntWhorelok 🦌🏴☠️🦇 (@angietwist) March 3, 2025

Being that so many of Lynskey’s fans were willing to fight Ritter to get a little of his wife’s attention, the “Parenthood” alum let them know that he’s more of a threat than they think.

“Yes I can fight,” Ritter wrote on X Monday.

Yes I can fight

But Ritter wasn’t quite done. In order to intimidate his rivals, Ritter also posted a video to X later that day highlighting some of his most lethal moves.

“You can fight, but can you win?” Why don’t you be the judge pic.twitter.com/4zeSwJ508m

— Jason Ritter 🦋 (@JasonRitter) March 3, 2025

In the hilarious video, Ritter can be seen sliding around his wooden floors in socks, and mimicking some martial arts and wrestling moves with about as much skill as an enthusiastic toddler.

“‘You can fight, but can you win?’ Why don’t you be the judge,” Ritter captioned the video.

Needless to say, fans were impressed. Check out their responses below!

He has mastered the craft. Just look at his flawless techniques.
