What to know about the tour: Having hit the charts with his album Whitsitt Chapel, country rapper Jelly Roll is heading out on his first headlining tour across Canada. The Beautifully Broken: Great Northern tour begins in Victoria on March 6 and finishes in Quebec City on March 26.

Jelly Roll first came to our attention as a member of the rap crew SNO and released a string of mixtapes featuring such notables as Tech N9ne and Struggle Jennings. He made his Grand Ole Opry debut on Nov. 9, 2021, and scored his first No. 1 rock radio hit with his song, Dead Man Walking.

The song Son of a Sinner from his eighth album, Ballads of the Broken, made history when it spent 25 weeks in the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Emerging Artists chart. In 2023, Whitsitt Chapel established him as a star, winning the new artist of the year award at the Country Music Association Awards. Beautifully Broken became the singer’s first U.S. No. 1 album and featured collaborations with everyone from Wiz Khalifa and Machine Gun Kelly to Halsey and Keith Urban.
