GMB star says ‘it’s a shame’ as she points out one thing wrong with Meghan’s Netflix show

star Narinder Kaur has shared her thoughts on Meghan Markle’s new series, With Love, Meghan – praising the Duchess for her cooking skills but also pointing out one key flaw in the show.

After watching the series, the broadcaster took to social media, gushing: “First thoughts of With Love, Meghan on – she definitely knows how to cook! She’s not been sat around being a royal diva who has no idea how to put a dish together. She takes real joy in looking after others.”

However, she added: “It’s a shame it’s not her actual kitchen, that takes away the authenticity but I understand why.”

Although Kaur was largely complimentary, one follower was quick to criticise the series, dismissing it in the comments saying: “I wouldn’t waste my time watching that.”

Kaur wasn’t swayed, and simply responded: “It’s actually REALLY good. I may try make the honey and lemon cake.”

Her comments come after she defended the series against outspoken journalist , who took aim at the show on his podcast.

Wootton, who is a long-time critic of the Sussexes, called With Love, Meghan “the worst TV series ever made”.

“I have given up over four hours of my life to watch With Love, Meghan so you don’t have to,” he ranted. “Shame on for producing this atrocity, and we have an incomparable lineup to reveal the truth behind Meg’s latest tissues of lies.”

Unimpressed by Wootton’s views, Kaur hit back on X, writing: “Lies, Dan. I’ve just watched four episodes and without any doubt, Meghan comes across as thoughtful, kind, welcoming, smart, caring, and bloody hardworking in that kitchen. She radiates with beauty, and actually – I genuinely didn’t expect to like her this much! She’s a star.”

Wootton demanded: “ARE YOU SERIOUS!? Like actually serious? Give me one example of how she comes across that way… x.”

Refusing to back down, Kaur doubled down on her praise, replying: “Yes. Really. In fact, I was going to WhatsApp you and say, ‘Come on Dan, she’s so damn likeable.’ With her friends – she shows sooo much care, she thinks of what THEY like, what their kids would like, she’s so wary of making them feel welcome, she for sure loves cooking and cleaning! No airs and graces. Harry is extremely lucky.”

With Love, Meghan marks the second series under Meghan and ’s multi-million-dollar deal. has described the series as a fresh take on the lifestyle genre.
