Danny Jones’s wife, Georgia Horsley, revealed that it took the McFly frontman a whole year to persuade her to go on a date because she had reservations about his romantic history. She said she assumed he was the typical musician with a colourful past, but eventually relented, and the pair have celebrated a decade of marriage.
However, Danny has found himself at the centre of controversy after footage surfaced showing him seemingly kissing his co-star Maura Higgins at a afterparty. Georgia, who shares a seven-year-old son with the McFly member, has not yet made any public statements regarding the incident.

Nonetheless, her previous comments on a podcast last year have gained new attention amidst the unfolding drama.
The Miss England titleholder admitted that her initial impression of Danny was less than favourable, thinking he “was a bit of a d***” and she “didn’t really like him”.
She also bluntly described him as “a top sh*****”, believing he conformed to the “musician stereotype”, reports .
Their first encounter occurred in 2008 when McFly were enjoying immense success, including seven UK number ones. Despite this, Georgia did not consent to a date until 2009, as she disclosed on the Never Have I Ever Joel Dommett and Hannah Cooper podcast in November last year.

Georgia opened up about her initial hesitance and playful strategy when she first went on a date with the celebrity: “I was totally chilled when we went on the date. I didn’t really want to. My mum went, ‘Oh darling, what have you got to lose? Go on, go and enjoy yourself,'” she revealed on a podcast.
With a sense of mischievous foreboding, she admitted: “I said ‘he’s probably going to be a bit of a top sh*****, isn’t he?’ I just assumed. I treated him mean, kept him keen – without realising.”
The tale took a heartwarming turn as Danny then proposed in 2013, followed by their marriage in North Yorkshire the subsequent year and Georgia giving birth to Cooper seven years ago.
But Danny’s kiss with Maura, with whom he was in last year, has caused a stir across social media.

Fans vented their frustration, with one saying: “Wtf Danny. You are married with a child. Fans are meant to respect you but how can they when you don’t even respect yourself.”
