Christine Lampard made an unexpected revelation about her husband Frank during Wednesday’s (5 March) episode of Loose Women.
The TV host returned to the panel for another episode of the daytime programme, where her footballer husband became a topic of discussion.
The panel delved into Frank’s intelligence, pondering whether Christine is as smart as her spouse. The subject came up after it was disclosed that Frank had once taken an IQ test and achieved a very high score.
“When he was playing at Chelsea, they made all of the players do an IQ test. It was actually just a basic IQ measurement in case there was a head injury during the game, so they could conduct another test later on,” Christine shared with her co-stars.
She confessed: “He absolutely aced it. He did brilliantly in it. Some big high score. Mensa almost picking up the phone!”

Christine’s colleague Denise Welch then mentioned Frank’s GCSE results, disclosing she’d previously been told that he received an A* in Latin and completed the qualification a year ahead of his classmates, reports .
“Yes he’s got an A* in Latin,” Christine confirmed, playfully rolling her eyes. “I am joking. He is good at figuring things out. I understand why he excels in these kind of tests.”
Frank, currently at the helm of Coventry City FC, boasts an impressive IQ of 150, placing him among the nation’s intellectual elite. Reflecting on a Chelsea era incident, he shared with the Coventry Telegraph his experience of taking an IQ test following teammate John Terry’s concussion in 2007.

He recalled: “I just breezed it. I was at Chelsea and it was in the aftermath of JT getting kicked in the head in the Carabao Cup final.
“Our doctor, who was Brian English at the time, made us do IQ tests to get us a base level of IQ so we could be registered again if you have a concussion or a head injury.”
When probed about his notable score, he modestly responded: “Other people were more interested in it than me, to be fair. I’m quite proud of it. It just beat my wife, Christine, which was the best thing about it. She was just below me. I don’t know the exact numbers. I think she’s around the same.”
Loose Women airs on weekdays on ITV1 at 12.30pm
