has revealed the real reason why she did not want her new show to be filmed at her own home.The Duchess of Sussex, 43, is at the centre of which aired on today, however it is a known fact that the show is not actually filmed at her own sprawling Montecito home and is instead filmed at a rented property just a few miles away. While her home would be big enough for such a project, Meghan said that the reason she did not want it to be filmed there is because of her family.
“I wanted to protect that safe haven. We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments — putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day.”

She continued: “Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house!”
Meghan has lived in her Montecito home since 2020 with , 40, and their two children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
They moved to the property five years ago after quitting life as senior royals in 2020.
Their estate reportedly has nine and 16 bedrooms, with plenty of outdoor space for the family to enjoy the sunshine.

While this series has not been filmed at the family home, some parts of have been seen before, including in the 2022 docuseries Harry and Meghan.
The duchess has also shown some areas of the home on her account @meghan, where she has been showing aspects of her post-royal-life this year.
