Meghan Markle spotted in sold-out designer shirt – recreate her chic look from £34

Whatever you think about the Duchess of Sussex’s new series, her outfits on the show are easy to praise. Our new favourite from With Love, Meghan? A classic striped shirt. 

In the third episode of the show, Meghan sported a white shirt with a subtle black-striped pattern. Royal fashion account identified the top as the Hava shirt with a San Leone stripe from Los Angeles-based brand, Doen.

The shirt, which originally retailed at $248 (roughly £195), has an oversized fit, giving it a relaxed look. Meghan styled hers with the sleeves rolled up and the top buttons undone, tucked into a pair of jeans. 

If you want to recreate the duchess’s casual look, we’ve found some home-grown high street alternatives to try from the likes of M&S, Next and Reiss. 

Next’s striped shirt has an oversized fit like Meghan’s, just with a bolder black stripe. Made from 100% cotton, it’s ideal for spring – roll up the cuffs to get that casual look. 

For another relaxed cotton shirt that will help you emmulate the duchess’s style, try this one from M&S’s Autograph range. If you like a bolder stripe, go for the navy and white. For a subtle pop of colour and more of a pinstripe, try the burnt orange and ivory version. 

If you are a fan of Meghan’s shirt, then this is a great alternative from British-based brand Albaray. With a soft black stripe pattern on white, with an oversized silhouette, it’s a dead-ringer for the duchess’s top. 

In her announcement video of her latest business venture ‘As Ever’, Meghan donned a simple crisp white shirt. If you prefer plain to stripes, try the Campbell by Reiss. Made from lightweight linen, it’s ideal for warmer temperatures. Note that this one is a more classic fit than the others, rather than being oversized.
