Meghan Markle reveals why new brand features picture of rarely-seen daughter Lilibet

Just last month, The Duchess of Sussex, 43, announced that she would be launching a lifestyle brand called As Ever, selling products that she loves and uses in her everyday life. This came as a surprise to many, with , 40, and Meghan often opting to keep their children out of the spotlight. However, in the duchess revealed exactly why she wanted her daughter to feature on the site.

She said: “Being able to have my own little girl, as I’ve spent so much of my life championing the rights of girls and women, and to be able to see this as a multigenerational story — Archie is of course included in that, my husband is of course included in that — but I love the heritage feeling of it and knowing this is something that I can create in front of my daughter and teach her what it’s like to be a working mom.

“This is something that hopefully can be part of her legacy too.”

Meghan’s brand is expected to launch its first products this Spring, however no official date has yet been set.

As well as selling jam and other preserves, As Ever is also relating to gardening and cooking.

When announcing the launch of her brand last month, Meghan wrote on : “I’m thrilled to introduce you to As Ever — a brand that I created and have poured my heart into.

“‘As ever’ means ‘as it’s always been’ or some even say ‘in the same way as always’.

“If you’ve followed along since my days of creating The Tig, you’ll know this couldn’t be truer for me.

“This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish — food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the every day.”
