is making a return to acting – but she’s feeling the nerves. Best known for playing Tracey Stubbs in Birds of a Feather, the 66-year-old’s most recent appearance in the iconic series was alongside co-stars Lesley Joseph and Pauline Quirke in December 2020.
In addition to her acting career, Linda has been a familiar face on ‘s since making her debut on the panel in 2003.
Linda has now announced that she will be stepping onto the stage in a production of the classic comedy Fawlty Towers in London’s West End – after the news that her Birds of a Feather co-star Pauline Quirke has been diagnosed with dementia and will step back from acting.
This endeavor marks a return to the theatrical scene for the star, who expressed her enthusiasm for this new chapter in her career. When asked about her upcoming roles, she shared her excitement and reflections about her acting comeback.

She said: “Because I haven’t done stage for a little while. I’m going to see it on Friday night, and then we start [the live shows] in probably May/June.”
Recently, Linda graced the exclusive press night of the highly anticipated play, The Last Laugh, held at the prestigious Noel Coward Theatre. This captivating production is set to run for a limited engagement of just one month, promising an immersive theatrical experience for audiences.
Linda is also set to take on a prominent role in the upcoming Channel 5 drama series, The Good Ship Murder.
