hit TV screens today after a highly-anticipated wait. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, is the star of the eight-episode series, with each episode showing the mum-of-two as she cooks and Among those are Meghan’s former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, her makeup artist and friend Daniel Martin, and American actress Mindy Kaling.

Why Meghan likes the Sussex title

revealed fairly early on in the series why she loves to keep and use her Sussex title. The title The Duchess of Sussex was given to Meghan after her marriage to in 2018, which saw the prince become the Duke of Sussex.

While the couple quit life as senior royals in 2020, they still hold these titles, with Meghan why the name Sussex is so important to her.

When Mindy calls her , the duchess responds: “It’s so funny, too, that you keep saying . You know I’m Sussex now.

“You have kids and you go ‘no, I share my name with my children.’ I didn’t know how meaningful it would be to me but it just means so much to go this is OUR family name. Our little family name.”

Meghan learnt flower arranging when pregnant with Prince Archie

Meghan also revealed in the series that she first learnt how to arrange flowers properly when she was pregnant with Prince Archie when she was still a royal.

During her pregnancy, Meghan flew out to New York City as her celebrity friends held a baby shower for her. At the shower, Meghan revealed one of the activities they did was arranging flowers.

Since then, the duchess has revealed she has been interested in flower arranging and enjoys doing it at home.

While only mentioning her husband a few times in the series, Meghan did reveal that – who she calls H – is also a good cook in the kitchen with certain dishes.

Talking to her friends, Meghan revealed that the prince is a “great cook” who makes “the best scrambled eggs”.

The duchess also revealed in the series

During a hike with her friend Delfina Blaquier – who is the wife of ‘s friend Nacho Figueras – Meghan spoke fondly about her days as a scout.

She said: “I was a Girl Scout for so many years.

“I started as a Daisy, which is when you’re five or six and I sold a lot of cookies. My mum [Doria Ragland] was my troop leader. Troop 949.”

Meghan likes hiking for ‘perspective’

In the same episode with friend Delfina Blaquier, Meghan also revealed why she enjoys hiking so much.

As they hike in the Californian sunshine, the duchess reveals why she enjoys the active hobby, claiming it gives her “perspective”.

She said: “It feels so good to be outside, it’s grounding.”

Prince Archie caught fish on family vacation

also surprised royal fans by revealing a new piece of information about her son Prince Archie, five.

When talking to her two friends Abigail and Kelly, Meghan said Archie had caught two trout on a fishing trip on the family’s last holiday, which they had fun salt baking as a family.

Archie and Lilibet named two family chickens

As well as talking about Archie’s fishing accomplishment, Meghan also revealed that her two children had named some chickens the family were recently given at their Montecito mansion.

When in the family’s huge Chicken coop, which is called Archie’s Chick-Inn, Meghan jokes that the names of two of the chickens they look after change from day to day.

She told the camera that both Archie and Lilibet had called two of the chickens Jill and Phil, but which chicken has this name changes each day.

Meghan once lived in Argentina for a few months

The duchess also spoke about the time she lived in Argentina for a few months years before meeting . When speaking to her Argentinian friend Delfina Blaquier, Meghan shared her fond memories from living in the country.

She said: “When I lived in Argentina, I think the reason I loved it so much is because it reminded me of California in a lot of ways. Where you have the mountains and you have this joy of life and the joy of being outside.

“I was only there for a few months interning at the US Embassy, but I loved it.”
