Beau Greaves illustrated her prodigious talents when she won three matches at the UK Open last month. The star dispatched Stefan Bellmont, Rhys Griffin and Mickey Mansell before exiting the tournament at the hands of 2024 winner .
Greaves, from Doncaster, is the latest darts sensation and has already claimed the record for winning the most titles on the PDC Women’s Series, despite only turning 21 in January. She became the second woman to win three consecutive WDF World Championships when she thrashed Sophie McKinlay in last year’s final. And Express Sport takes a look at three of her key moments that have made the headlines.
World Championship snub
Due to the current PDC rules, non-tour card holders can’t compete at both the World Darts Championship and the Women’s World Championship.
And Greaves last year as she opted to chase her third title at Lakeside instead.
The young ace explained after making her decision: “It’s a shame they make you choose. I don’t understand that. I don’t know why they do. I think it’s stupid.
“I wouldn’t go on and win Ally Pally – I’d give it a good crack and see if I played well. But ultimately I want to be a ladies’ world champion.”

Luke Littler prediction
Greaves appeared to be on her way to landing one of the biggest scalps in darts history when she took a shock 7-5 lead against Humphries at the UK Open.
Cool Hand eventually hit back to clinch the match 10-7 but then lavished his rival with praise as the duo in front of the ITV cameras. And Humphries predicted that Greaves would soon be challenging reigning world champion Luke Littler.
“She belongs in big-time darts,” he said. “If we were in a Premier League game, she would have beaten me there. She’s still very young but she’s got a massive future ahead of her. I’m going to be sharing the stage with her a lot more.
“Beau proved she belongs in big-time darts. She really did test me, and in a few years you’ll find she’s got the level to match me, Luke and Michael [Van Gerwen].”

Luke Humphries gesture
Humphries and Greaves hugged on the Butlins stage in Minehead following their clash, with the defeated player then making her way towards the side of the platform.
But Humphries before she could leave the stage in a heart-warming gesture and held her arms aloft as he called for the crowd to give her a memorable encore.
Greaves then admitted during the duo’s post-match interview: “I’m used to watching these players all the time on telly and it was just great to be there on stage with him and to give a good account of myself.”
