Kourtney Kardashian Barker is reacting to “lies” that have been spreading around social media about her 15-year-old son Mason.
On March 2, the reality television star posted a statement on her Instagram story addressing rumors that Mason, whom she shares with former partner Scott Disick, has a child.
“I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family but this is about my child and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true. They are not. Mason does not have a child,” she wrote in a statement.
Kardashian Barker continued, “These accounts that pretend to be him are definitely not. They are FAKE.”
The mom said that her oldest child cares about his privacy and she would like the media to respect him.
She described Mason as “a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him” and asked social media users to “stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies.”
At the end of her statement, Kardashian Barker added, “And to all the other people making videos about my kids (who, by the way, are minors), please stop and leave them alone.”
In addition to Mason, Kardashian Barker also shares 12-year-old daughter Penelope and 10-year-old son Reign with Disick. She has a 1-year-old son named Rocky with husband Travis Barker, as well.
“The Kardashians” star last shared a photo on Instagram with all her children on Dec. 30. She posed with her arm around Reign while Mason and Penelope stood next to Barker, who held Rocky and kissed him. Kardashian Barker placed a red heart over Rocky’s face as the couple has chosen not to reveal his face on social media.
“‘Twas the night before Christmas,” she captioned the group snap and included a red heart emoji.
