In April, this charming island sees highs of 21C and lows just 6C lower at 15C, making it ideal for an early-season holiday.

During April, the weather in Kos starts to warm up as it slowly transitions from winter to spring. With nine hours of sunshine per day, visitors can expect to explore the island in pleasant conditions.
However, there is also a slight chance of rain, with the island averaging five rainy days per month.
As the third largest island in the Dodecanese group, it is a popular spot for friends, families, and couples who are attracted to its vibrant nightlife, cultural heritage, and Mediterranean climate.
Kos started life as a Minoan colony in the 14th Century BC, but over the years, it was ruled by many, including Persians, Athenians, Spartans, Byzantines, Romans, Venetians and Turks.
During the Second World War, it was occupied by Germany before passing under British rule and finally unified with Greece in 1948.
