was “so nervous” before marrying the now- in 2005, the 77-year-old’s hair stylist has revealed.

The royal couple tied the knot at Windsor Guildhall on April 9, 2005. They will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary later this year.

Speaking to , in an interview with her daughter and two granddaughters, Camilla’s hair stylist Jo Hansford said that the royal showed signs of nervousness as got ready in the morning of their wedding day.

Jo, who has been Camilla’s hair stylist for 35 years, told the publication: “She looked amazing, thank God. She was so nervous.

“The whole world was watching, and it must have been terrifying, the same as the coronation. But I think she handled it really well.”

Although her hair stylist, Jo is known to be a close confidante of Queen Camilla.

Speaking of how the pair bonded, Jo revealed that they bonded over both being doting mothers and grandmothers.

She said: “Our children are the same age, so we had our heartaches when our kids were travelling at the same time, with no mobile phones or emails, and we were terrified of where they were and what they were doing.”

Jo was also asked whether she believes Camilla has changed during her time in the .

The hair stylist said: “No not really. She has adapted incredibly well, because it’s not easy for an older person to come into ‘The Firm’, as they call it.

“It’s hard work, and your whole life is programmed for the year.”

Jo was previously dubbed “the best tinter on the planet” by US Vogue.
