“President Zelensky needs to dial things down in this interview…negotiations to end wars are always fraught and he must be exhausted. But his country needs him to get America back onside to help end the fighting. The U.S. remains your best hope for peace/security @ZelenskyyUa,” Morgan wrote.

“Have you said ‘thank you’ once?” Vance asked Zelensky.

Zelensky did later express his thanks in a post on X after he departed the meeting.
, he wrote: “Thank you America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit.
“Thank you @POTUS, Congress, and the American people. needs just and lasting peace, and we are working exactly for that.”
