Josie Gibson has candidly opened up about her love life during her new Channel 5 travel series, Around The World in First Class.
In the debut episode, the 40-year-old presenter enjoyed a luxurious stop at a five-star water villa in Dubai before jetting off to Doha. Kicking off her globetrotting adventure in style, Josie indulged in the full first-class experience, complete with VIP perks.
Upon arrival at her extravagant £15,000-a-night villa, Josie was utterly captivated by the sumptuous surroundings. With access to a spa, gourmet dining, and a personal host, it seemed nothing could dampen her spirits.
During her initial evening, Josie embarked on a sunset boat excursion, renowned as an idyllic setting for marriage proposals. Yet, despite the romantic backdrop, there were no proposals awaiting Josie as she ventured out accompanied only by her tour guide.
“No proposals for me tonight, but I’ve definitely had my money’s worth,” she remarked, reports .

Nonetheless, Josie didn’t let the solo trip diminish her enjoyment, expressing: “Seeing Dubai at night from a boat is incredible. The beauty of it is magic. It’s at night that Dubai really comes alive.”
The evening continued with a grand welcome on the beach, featuring a red carpet and a solitary yet enchanting dinner, complete with scattered rose petals.
“I feel like this is the closest I’m going to get to a proposal, because this is what it feels like. There is no expense spared here and it feels so romantic right now. And a tiny bit depressing that I’m here on my own.”

But the solitude was short-lived as Chef Julian LaRay soon joined her, whipping up a delectable meal that included Josie’s beloved sushi.
Later on, the star opened up about her personal life, saying she would “have loved to have someone to share this with.”
It comes as Josie’s first public romance was with her Big Brother co-star John James Parton. After their stint on the show, they lived together but eventually split up.

She then got engaged to plumber Luke Sanwo in 2012, but it didn’t work out. Speaking to New! Magazine at the time, Josie said: “The passion has been slowly drifting and now it’s pretty much nonexistent. I feel like it’s the right thing to do at the moment.”
The This Morning presenter later started dating Terry Bond in 2017, and they had their son Reggie in 2018. However, they separated a few months after Reggie was born.
They had known each other for two decades, and during the pandemic, Terry moved back in so they could parent together as a family. Back in December, Josie revealed that she is currently single as she’s too busy with raising son Reggie and working.
The First Class Travel Show airs on Channel 5, on Friday’s from 8pm.
