Josie Gibson has ignited worry among fans after she appeared on This Morning with a set of crutches. The ITV favourite joined forces with Alison Hammond to present the Friday (28 February) episode of the popular daytime programme.
Alison initially took to the screen solo before Josie entered minutes later. She shared details of sustaining an injury while enjoying a getaway in Dubai with her young son Reggie during the half-term.
Recounting the incident, Josie spoke of needing medical assistance overseas, where, at first, it was believed she had fractured her leg.
However, once back in Britain, the diagnosis was updated to soft tissue damage, and she is now getting around with the aid of a walker boot to support her healing foot.
Josie divulged: “You could not even make it up. I’ve had a holiday disaster. I’ve always wanted to take my little one to Dubai. We went to Dubai for half term. Second day of the holiday, I was brushing my teeth when the vanity unit came down on my foot,” reports .

Further elaborating on the mishap, she detailed how, after striking her foot, the unit shattered into fragments and then shared how this trauma “ruined” her vacation.
“I spent the whole holiday in bed with my leg in the air. Totally ruined my holiday,” Josie lamented. “And in a wheelchair. I was with my six-year-old, can you imagine? I couldn’t even build a sandcastle with him!”.
This Morning’s audience expressed their sympathy for Josie’s plight via social media, with remarks such as “Poor Josie,” and “Aw, I hope Josie is okay.” Another added their voice, saying, “Poor Josie, I hope she sues.”
