Embroiled in a £30,000 legal battle with her landlady after reportedly painting a room in her Grade II listed home an “awful” shade of blue without permission, what a shame comedy star Daisy May Cooper didn’t rely on the expertise of one fellow Cirencester resident.

Celebrity interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, also pictured, however mischievously claims: “I’ll say hello to Daisy… she often looks a little bit grumpy.”

The TV dandy adds: “I think she needs to be treated with a bit of distance.”
