King Charles described by Donald Trump in sweet two-word remark

has described in a sweet two-word remark after receiving a letter from His Majesty.

The US President was in Washington DC yesterday during a meeting on and trade.

The Prime Minister said the letter was from the King and was “very special” as it was an invite for an unprecedented second state visit to the UK.

He added this had never happened before and was “historic”.

On receiving the letter, which was personally signed by King Charles himself, Mr Trump referred to the 76-year-old monarch as a “great gentleman”.

He then went on to say the King was a “beautiful man, a wonderful man” before saying that they had formed a good relationship after Trump’s first state visit to the UK in 2019.

The US president told Sir Keir that he looks forward to this state visit to the UK in the near future, with US First Lady expected to accompany her husband.

Just last year, Mr Trump met in France when they both visited Paris for the ceremonial reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral.

He has also over the years, having once told : “She was just an extraordinary woman, a great woman.””

The invitation from the King comes just weeks after Mr Trump took another savage swipe at Prince Harryand his wife , who he has criticised since they quit life as senior royals in 2020.

Mr Trump as he said he would not get involved in drama surrounding ’s US visa.
