We’re rounded up every place on the internet you can stream, rent or purchase all 10 of this year’s Best Picture nominees below. If you’re curious what else is up for an award this year, take look at all the nominees before the Oscars air this Sunday and get to filling out that Letterboxd pronto — you’ve got a lot to catch up on.
Where Can You Stream The Oscars? (On A Discount?)
This year, the 97th annual Oscars awards ceremony will simulcast on Hulu at the same time as on all ABC networks.
Just sign up for the basic Hulu plan, with or without ads, for $9.99 or $18.99, respectively. You can also go our favorite deal-saving route and bundle Disney+, Hulu and Max for $16.99 with ads or $29.99 without ads monthly. (Or, in any case, just sign up for an account and cancel your membership before your trial ends. But you didn’t hear that from us.)
The latter deal is our favorite, as you’ll save up to 38% off per month if you bundled these services rather than purchase them individually.
“Anora” On Digital And (Soon To Be) Hulu

Sean Baker’s sex worker Cinderella story “Anora” is currently available for purchase or rent on Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video. You can actually rent it on a discount right now, as it’s down to $5.99 instead of its typical $9.99 fee. If you prefer to watch, the movie will reportedly hit Hulu on March 17, 2025.
“The Brutalist” On Digital

The Adrien Brody-led 3.5-hour epic period drama (and my 2024 favorite film) “The Brutalist” is only available for purchase right now on Amazon and Apple TV, as it’s still on its theatrical run. Find it at a theater near you or grab it digitally so can watch from the comfort of your couch and stretch out during its intermission.
“A Complete Unknown” For Purchase And Rent

One of two Timothée Chalamet-led films nominated for Best Picture, “A Complete Unknown” is a Bob Dylan biopic that follows the folk singer’s climb to fame. The movie also earned Chalamet’s second-ever Oscar nomination for acting, who learned how to sing and play guitar for the role. Although it’s still playing theatrically, you can rent or purchase it at a higher-than-usual digital price.
“Conclave” For Purchase And Rent

In this religious thriller, Cardinal Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) organizes a conclave to elect the next pope, but quickly unravels some deep-seeded mysteries that challenge the Roman Catholic Church. “Conclave,” which has eight total nominations, is currently streaming on Peacock. You can also rent or purchase it at Amazon and Apple TV.
“Dune: Part Two” On For Purchase, Rent And Traditional Streaming

The other Timothee Chalamet-led film for Best Picture is the second part of the sci-fi epic “Dune.” Hardcore Zendaya (and Frank Herbert) fans already know: this is streaming now on Netflix and Max. You can also buy a UHD digital copy for 50% off right now.
“Emilia Pérez” Exclusively On Netflix

The Spanish-language musical crime film “Emilia Pérez” is exclusively streaming at Netflix, and that’s that. You can’t digitally rent or purchase the film so you’ll have to fork up some cash and sign-up for Netflix if you’re looking to watch this one. This movie is a major hitter across all categories, by the way, with a whopping 13 nominations.
“I’m Still Here” In Theaters

The Brazilian political biographical drama is the toughest of the Best Picture nominees to catch before Sunday — it simply isn’t available anywhere yet. You’ll have to catch “I’m Still Here” in a theater near you. A shame given that this is the first time a Brazilian film has ever been nominated for the category.
“Nickel Boys” For Rent, Purchase And MGM+ Streaming Only

The under-the-radar adaptation of Colson Whitehead’s novel of the same name has been making waves the final quarter of last year, and after a very limited theatrical run, you can finally rent and purchase the film digitally. It was announced this week that the film would be hitting MGM+ today, February 28, so if you’d like to stream it instead, sign up for the service or start your trial today.
“The Substance” For Purchase And Streaming on Mubi Exclusively

One of my favorites of last year, “The Substance” is about waning actress Elisabeth Sparkle (Demi Moore) taking a black market drug to create a younger, more version of herself, played by Margaret Qualley. The goopiest and goriest movie of this list is exclusively streaming on Mubi, but you can rent it or buy it on sale today at Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.
“Wicked” For Purchase Only And (Soon To Be) Streaming On Peacock

It was recently announced that the musical-fantasy “Wicked” would release on Peacock March 21, 2025, along with a special singalong version the same day. But if you can’t wait, you can buy it at Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV for $19.99, down from $29.99. At the moment, you can’t rent this blockbuster but it’ll be available for rent on Apple TV by March 4.
