The final day of pre-season testing is underway at the Bahrain International Circuit as , and prepare for their final track time before the .
The first two days of testing have been unusually quiet in terms of reliability concerns, although , Haas and have battled their own respective issues.
While testing times are far from representative, the feeling from within the paddock is that the 2025 campaign could live up to its billing as one of the closest and most exciting in modern F1 history.

Hamilton not moved by Trump’s DEI attacks
has addressed concerns about ’s second tenure as president of the United States, insisting that he won’t change his business approach despite the ongoing attack on so-called ‘DEI hires’.
“I’m not going to change what he does, or the government does,” he told TIME magazine. “All I can do is try to make sure that in my space, in my environment, I’m trying to elevate people.
“There’s going to be forces along the way that don’t want that, for whatever reason I can’t fathom. That doesn’t stop me. It is a fight that we’ll just keep fighting.”
Hamilton also addressed fears of racism, which have been experienced in Italian football in recent years. “I’m not going to lie, it definitely crossed my mind when I was thinking about my decision,” he said. “Like in so many things, it’s often such a small group of people that set that trend for many. I don’t think that it’s going to be a problem.”
F1 Testing: Lance Stroll misses morning session through illness
will miss this morning’s F1 pre-season testing session after being struck with illness overnight.
The Canadian racer was scheduled to complete the morning session with Fernando Alonso stepping in for the final session. The Spaniard will likely now drive the entire Friday in Bahrain.
“Overnight Lance wasn’t feeling 100 per cent,” an Aston Martin statement read. “Fernando will now drive the car this morning and we’ll confirm our line-up for this afternoon in due course.”
