Demi Moore has a lot to celebrate, and so do the people closest to “The Substance” star.
The 62-year-old’s trio of daughters — Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Willis — have cheered their movie-star mom on every step of the way as she’s navigated Hollywood’s awards season, from Moore’s Critics’ Choice, Golden Globes and SAG Awards wins to her very first Oscar nomination after more than 40 years on the big screen.
It’s clear that they’re her biggest fans, but there’s more for the actor’s other fans to know about them than that.
Read on to learn about each of the adult children Moore shares with ex-husband Bruce Willis.
Rumer Willis
On Aug. 16, 1988, Moore, who had married Willis just nine months earlier, gave birth to their first child, Rumer Glenn Willis.
The former couple’s eldest offspring has followed in their famous footsteps, getting her own start in acting at the age of 5, alongside Moore in the coming-of-age comedy “Now and Then.”
Rumer Willis, who now has dozens of screen credits to her name, has followed Moore’s career renaissance closely since the release of the 2024 body horror that catapulted her mother back in the spotlight. She even came up with a name for the pop culture phenomenon: She calls it the “Demi-ssance.”
“We were hijacking it from Matthew McConaughey,” the 36-year-old joked during a May 2024 appearance on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna, giving a nod to the “True Detective” actor’s self-dubbed “McConaissance.”
She went on to explain that she and her sisters have a text thread with Moore called “Lineage of Females,” and it’s devoted to raving about Moore’s various red carpet looks amid all the recent accolades.
“We’re like, ‘Oh my god, mom, mom, mom, this is amazing! You look iconic!’” Rumer Willis said. “We’re losing our minds.”
Scout Willis
Scout LaRue Willis was born to Moore and Bruce Willis on July 20, 1991.
Just like her big sister, Scout Willis also got an early start on the big screen alongside her mom, in 1995’s “The Scarlet Letter.” But unlike Rumer, Scout has since shifted her focus to another branch of the entertainment biz. As a singer-songwriter, she attracts more than 28,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
Still, the 33-year-old’s thoughts are focused on Moore’s career at the moment.
“I am beyond excited; I’m beyond proud of her,” she told E! News in February, ahead of the 97th Academy Awards.
Scout Willis continued, adding, “It’s like all of the recognition I could ever hope for a career and a lifetime of pushing culture forward in really profound ways that I think she was not recognized for.”
Tallulah Willis
Tallulah Belle Willis, was born Feb. 3, 1944, four years before the powerhouse couple parted ways.
And out of all the actors in the family, she kicked off her career the earliest, starring as the infant version of the same character Scout Willis played in 1995’s “The Scarlet Letter.” But after just two more onscreen credits, the now-artist and entrepreneur left the family business behind.
But, of course, she’s been keeping her eyes on this year’s Oscars race all the same, thanks to Moore’s momentum.
“I mean proud doesn’t even begin to say,” Tallulah Willis told the Associated Press of her mother’s success. “We’ve watched everything from home — the squeals of delight and the joy and just watching her be so graceful. And the way that she speaks in her acceptance speeches, that’s how we know her. So it’s really beautiful for me to feel like the world is seeing that side of her. We’re just so … we’re so excited!”
