OK, the countdown to spring is on and on March 20, it’s official.
In the meantime, there are certain to be some rainy, cold and messy nights ahead where you probably want to be cosied up in a nice club or arena rather than playing pickleball outside.

Heart: The Royal Flush Tour
When and where: March 13, 6:30 p.m. at the Pacific Coliseum

With a set list spanning the band’s whole career with a few tasty Led Zeppelin covers floated in as well, this is a chance to enjoy classics from Barracuda to Alone and more.

When and where: March 15, 8 p.m. at the Chan Shun Concert Hall, University of B.C.

A prize-winning performer whose honours include such esteemed awards as the first prize at the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz to the ECHO jazz awards, Hamasyan’s latest Nonesuch recording is based on the Armenian folk tale Hazaran Bubul or the Bird of a Thousand Voices.
Bedouin Soundclash: Sounding a Mosaic 20 year anniversary tour
When and where: March 22, 9 p.m. at the Commodore Ballroom, 868 Granville St., Vancouver
What is the latest album: We Will Meet in a Hurricane was released in 2022
The group is now touring in celebration of the 20th anniversary of that album playing the record and tracks from across the band’s career.
An Evening With Judy Collins
When and where: March 30, 7:30 p.m. at the Massey Theatre
What is the latest album: In Concert Wildflowers at the Town Hall N.Y.C. was released in 2024
That album has since been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and Collins continues to record and perform as well as co-directing films such as the Oscar-nominated film Portrait of a Woman about conductor Antonia Brico, one of the first women to conduct major symphonies around the world.
The 2025 Juno Awards
When and where: March 30, 5 p.m., at B.C. Place
With performances from many of the night’s nominees as well as a special final show from Canadian Music Hall of Fame act Sum 41, this is going to be a very big night out.
In addition, there are comedy nights, an after-party at the Commodore Ballroom and many more activities taking place in the week leading up to the awards ceremony.
