Before settling into this luxurious home, McIlroy resided in the nearby Palm Beach Gardens, until he sold that house in 2018 for a staggering £10.1m. McIlroy’s property portfolio isn’t limited to Florida; he reportedly owns an impressive mansion in La Quinta, California, high-end apartments in both New York and the UAE, and a resplendent 19th-century manor in the picturesque environs of County Down, Northern Ireland, near the coastal town of Holywood where he grew up.

In personal news, McIlroy and wife Stoll experienced some turbulence last year, as they filed for divorce in May 2024, right before the PGA Championship. However, they reconsidered their decision the following month, and chose to continue nurturing their relationship instead. The couple have been married since April 2017 – a union that blossomed five years following their first meeting in 2012.

In the wake of cancelling the divorce proceedings, McIlroy noted the public attention on his private matters, saying: “There have been rumours about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate. Responding to each rumour is a fool’s game. Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realised that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning.”

On the golf course, McIlroy, currently ranked world No. 3, has been in top form, kicking off his 2025 season with a bang. The four-time major champion finished tied for fourth at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic in January, before clinching his first win of the year at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am earlier this month with an impressive score of 21-under-par.

There, he finished two strokes clear of Shane Lowry, carding six-under in the final round. McIlroy’s most recent outing saw him finish tied for 17th at the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines South, where he shot three-under-par, level with Colin Morikawa, Jake Knapp, and Nicholas Dunlap.
