The report adds that Kimmich was informed about the offer ‘no longer being valid’ this week, as Bayern wanted a simple ‘yes or no’ decision. Senior Bayern figures are said to have agreed at a recent board meeting that the terms of their extension proposal will not be improved.
There is still believed to be a chance that Bayern and Kimmich can reach a solution, although it is unclear whether the club is willing to reinstate the terms of their previous offer.
