This Morning viewers were left underwhelmed on Wednesday (February 26), with many grabbing their remotes in frustration, claiming the show had dipped below its usual standards.
The daytime TV programme faced a barrage of criticism from fans who flocked to social media to announce they were “boycotting the show” after enduring another “boring” episode. Complaints centred around repetitive segments featuring weight loss injections “again” and an uninspiring jigsaw competition.
The online discontent escalated as two professional puzzlers raced against the clock to complete a challenging speed jigsaw, much to viewers’ dismay.
Adding to the mix, a gadget guru showcased top cleaning products while Donal Skehan whipped up a simple six-ingredient banoffee pie in the kitchen.
Despite the variety on offer, disgruntled fans blasted the producers for seemingly “running out of material,” with some threatening to abandon the programme altogether, currently presented by Cat Deeley and , reports .

On X – the platform formerly known as Twitter – audience members gathered to air their frustration. One viewer lamented: “#thismorning Not sure who is in charge of putting out this daily drivel but, ARE YOU OK.”
Another commented: “It’s no wonder people are switching off, and #thismorning are no longer winning awards.”
A third exasperated fan posted: “#ThisMorning F****** jigsaws! They’ve run out of material, haven’t they.”

Meanwhile, a fourth declared: “If they don’t stop banging on about them, weight loss jabs are going to make me give up #thismorning.”
Some viewers expressed their disappointment with comments such as: “What a disaster of a segment. All those products flopped #thismorning,” and “Tomorrow we’re getting in four people to watch paint dry #thismorning.”
Despite the negative feedback, some fans enjoyed the show, especially when Stephen McGann from Call The Midwife appeared to chat with Ben and Cat.

One fan wrote: “Stephen McGann is looking very well. God Love him,” while another shared: ” This morning, Oh, I learnt something new today; his wife writes it #callthemidwife.”
Audiences were taken aback to discover that Stephen’s wife is none other than Heidi Thomas, the creator of Call the Midwife. The actor disclosed that his wife often becomes emotional over certain poignant storylines on the popular daytime show.
He informed Cat and Ben that his imaginative wife would frequently “be in tears” after penning particular scenes, sharing with the hosts: “She feels the show in her heart and soul.”
