Frances Tiafoe has recalled his exciting encounter with Taylor Swift after they watched an NFL game together in a private suite.
The world No. 18 and his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, went to see the Kansas City Chiefs in November, where they ended up in the same room as the pop star.
Tiafoe spent the day drinking with Swift and quickly learned that Travis Kelce “loved” him.
The American tennis star and his girlfriend struck up an unlikely friendship with Swift and Kelce when they turned up to watch the Chiefs face the Denver Broncos.
Photos of the couples quickly went viral after Broomfield, a former college tennis champion, shared snaps of herself and Tiafoe posing with Swift and Kelce.
Tiafoe has finally reflected on their “crazy” encounter, revealing that Swift told him the Chiefs star was a big fan of his tennis.
Speaking ahead of the ATP 500 in Acapulco, Tiafoe told the ATP: “We go into the suite. The first person we see in the suite is Taylor.

“And I’m like, okay, don’t – at least try to act like you’ve been here before.
“It’s crazy because, you know, like I’m not even saying I’m Swiftie, but like I appreciate greatness so much. And seeing how cool she was, she’s got my ultimate respect.”
The three-time title winner was impressed by how much Swift knew about his own career. “First off, she was very knowledgeable about what I was doing,” he continued.
“She’s like, ‘Man, we wanted to watch you play in the final and this and that at the [US] Open’. And she’s like, ‘Trav loves you’, and this and that.
“And we were drinking all day together. She was so cool. One of the most humble people for who she is. Super down to earth. She’s amazing. Hopefully we can do that again.”
Swift and Kelce attended the US Open men’s singles final last year, where they watched world No. 1 beat home hope .
Tiafoe will now be hoping the power couple can return the favour and watch him in action after he came to see the Chiefs.
The world No. 18 is currently in action in Acapulco, where he beat Alexandre Muller to set up a clash with Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
