Hollywood Star Parents

Born to Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson, royalty coursed through her veins from her earliest days.

Despite their separation when she was merely a toddler – 18 months old – she thrived under the care of Hawn and actor Kurt Russell, who became a pillar in her life, far beyond her biological father, with whom she claims to have no relationship.

In Vanity Fair, she mentioned that her biological father “doesn’t know me from a hole in the wall” and openly embraces Kurt as her true dad.

Speaking to Detour magazine, she expressed profound gratitude towards Russell: “Kurt is a saviour who came into my life. He’s been there for everything.”

The actress boasts an intriguing array of half-siblings; Emily and Zachary Hudson from her mother’s previous marriage, another half-sibling Lalania Hudson from her father’s different relationship, and actor brother Wyatt Russell, the son of Hawn and Russell.

Hudson has a storied romantic history, featuring a whirlwind of high-profile beaus such as her first and only marriage to Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes, whom she wed in 2000 only to face divorce by 2007 after he sought legal separation citing “irreconcilable differences”.

Prior to tying the knot with Robinson, Hudson is said to have been romantically linked with Matt LeBlanc—famously known as Joey Tribbiani from Friends—for about a year from 1995.

Other notable flames include a romance with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, to whom she was engaged in April 2011 and with whom she shares a son born three months later, but they separated in 2014.

Hudson also oscillated between on-again-off-again episodes with actor Owen Wilson following their work on You, Me and Dupree, and other briefer encounters with folks like Dax Shepard, Lance Armstrong, and Nick Jonas.

Healthy Lifestyle

Hudson is often hailed as an icon for both fashion and healthy living, but she doesn’t subscribe to fad diets or rigorous workout regimes to maintain her glow. Instead, she credits healthy eating, physical activity and mindfulness, along with adjusting her schedule according to her mood, as her secret to staying fit.

A long-time advocate for meditation as a stress-buster, she tries to practice it for at least 20 minutes twice a day. “Meditation has been the most helpful and life-changing thing for me,” she revealed to the LA Times in 2016.

“You can feel the difference when you meditate on a regular basis. At least I can…. I started practicing [transcendental meditation] a year and a half ago so I meditate 20 minutes in the morning and I try to do another 20 minutes in the afternoon.

“This is the first time I’ve made it a point to meditate every day.”
