Emmerdale viewers were left on the edge of their seats during Wednesday’s episode (February 26) as a significant revelation about Anthony Fox’s (Nicholas Day) recent murder came to light. Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) made a shocking admission – he doesn’t know where Anthony’s body is.
A few weeks prior, Aaron had attacked Anthony, only to return with John Sugden (Oliva Farnworth) to find him dead.
This led Aaron to believe he was the killer, oblivious to the fact that Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) had entered and murdered her abusive father in his absence.
Before discovering the true cause of Anthony’s death, Aaron and John attempted to cover up the crime. John, a former army member, assured Aaron he could handle disposing of the body.
However, he later refused to disclose the body’s location to Aaron, fearing it would complicate matters further. After learning of Ruby’s involvement, they, along with Chas (Lucy Pargeter), Cain (Jeff Hordley), and Caleb (William Ash), agreed to keep the murder a secret.

In the latest episode, Chas and Aaron contemplated turning themselves into the police, leading to a surprising moment when Aaron admitted he didn’t know where Anthony’s body was, reports
Chas was taken aback that John had kept mum about the body, a suspicion that Aaron soon shared. After learning of Aaron’s concerns, John called a clandestine meeting with the group.
He warned them that if one person deviated from their plan, it would spell disaster for all. To earn their trust, John revealed the location of Anthony’s makeshift grave in the woods.
Later, Caleb dropped by the pub and promised his brother he’d cease his troublesome antics, acknowledging the wisdom in John’s advice about unity.

When Chas brought up Ruby, Caleb expressed his concern but remained hopeful that she would weather this storm if they stuck to their plan.
Unbeknownst to him, Ruby was at her father’s grave, overwhelmed by the gravity of the situation. However, some viewers are sceptical about Anthony’s supposed burial in the woods or even his death.
Sharp-eyed fans think they’ve unravelled a family secret: they suspect John might be Ruby’s biological brother and speculate that he may have saved Anthony from death rather than burying him.
