One person has died in a horror bus crash in London, leaving several others, including a nine-year-old child, seriously injured.
The collision between the bus and a car occurred on Whitmore Road in Harrow, north-west London, at around 10.20pm on Monday.
It remains unclear whether the deceased was travelling in either of the vehicles or waiting at the nearby bus stop. Four other individuals, including a child aged nine, were rushed to hospital with severe injuries, though their exact locations during the incident are yet to be confirmed.
The Metropolitan Police’s collision investigation unit has initiated a major incident investigation with support from the London Ambulance Service. The crash took place near the A312, linking Harrow with Northolt. No arrests have been made.
CCTV footage is currently under review, and witnesses or those with any relevant footage are urged to come forward, reports .
As investigations continue, the A312 has been reopened towards Harrow and Northolt in both directions. Whitmore Road, which extends west from the A312 towards The Ridgeway and West Harrow, has also been reopened.
