fans are convinced they’ve cracked the mystery of whose grave visits, and it’s not who you might expect.
Last year, the soap opera tantalised viewers with a series of flashforwards, offering a sneak peek into the happenings of 2025. These glimpses into the future showed Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) in a frantic dash through the woods, seemingly fleeing from an unseen threat.
In another scene, Caleb Miligan (William Ash) appeared to be in dire straits, flatlining on a hospital bed. Adding to the suspense was a chilling clip of a hand pressed against the underside of a frozen lake, suggesting someone trapped beneath the ice.
Soap stalwart (Jeff Hordley) also had his own flashforward, depicted mourning at a freshly dug grave, indicating a recent funeral. Dressed in a suit, he is seen shedding tears at the graveside.
This week, the flashforward of the hand under the ice came to fruition following a limousine crash that claimed three lives: Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi).

Fans fear it could be Moira’s grave (Image: ITV)
The debate heated up in the comments, where one viewer speculated: “I don’t think it’s either of them.” Echoing this sentiment, another chimed in, “It’s definitely not Amy or Nate, wouldn’t give it away that easy.”
As theories abound over the identity of the gravesite, a predominant guess among fans is that it’s the resting place of Cain’s wife, Moira (portrayed by Natalie J. Robb)—especially following her recent discovery of his infidelity.
A viewer pondered the potential plot twist, saying, “I think Cain and Moira’s split is leading to something more dramatic. Maybe she will die? ” Another fan responded, fearing the worst yet hopeful, expressed, “You might be right but I hope not I love Moira!”
