Emmerdale fans are in for a treat as the soap gears up to introduce a new character next month, promising an extra dose of ‘danger to the village’.

Viewers will meet new bad boy Kammy, portrayed by actor Shebz Miah, who makes a splash in March with a daring theft of a quad bike from Moira Dingle’s farm. However, the incident quickly points suspicion towards Ross Barton.

The plot thickens when Sarah Sugden encounters Kammy struggling with the stolen vehicle, leaving audiences on tenterhooks about which side she’ll choose as Ross closes in.

The ITV soap hints: “When beginning to build a relationship, it’s evident that under Kammy’s influence, Sarah goes back to her roots by adopting the characteristics and behaviours of a true Dingle” teasing “danger, romance, excitement and inherent charm” from the newcomer.
