In an attempt to hide her diagnosis from her loved ones, Julie admits to Todd that she doesn’t have long to live, with doctors telling her that she might not make it beyond the summer months.

Todd was left stunned by the news but was further shocked when Julie told him not to talk about her diagnosis to her sister, Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver).

In future scenes, Todd and George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) try to convince Julie to reveal her secret to Eileen. Only time will tell if she decides to break her silence.
