Dave Chisnall has offered to team up with and host a private darts lesson at ‘s training ground.

It came after Reds manager was put on the spot by Bunting, a fellow fan, during a recent Q&A with .

Fans were invited to submit questions for the Dutchman to answer and Bunting obliged by asking: “Hi Arne, just wondering who the best darter is within the squad and management?”

Slot looked puzzled and replied: “[Within the] management, I have no clue because we never do this. From what I heard, Caoimhin [Kelleher] is quite good. It would be a surprise to me if anyone is better than me and the staff!”

Asked who would win in a match between him and Kelleher, Slot said: “Oh, Caoimhin for sure because I’m not good. I assume Sipke [Hulshoff, assistant coach] is a bit smaller than me, so it’s difficult for him to reach the board.”

The clip went viral on social media and prompted a response from Chisnall, who is known to support the Reds and has previously appeared on their in-house media channels.

He offered to join forces with Bunting and teach ‘s players and staff a thing or two, : “Get me and @sbunting180 down to give the lads a lesson #YNWA.”

Slot was right to name Kelleher as the standout darts player in the dressing room, with the Irishman showing off his skills in a Sky Sports challenge last year.

He played reporter Kyle Walker over a single leg, firing in a treble 20 on his first visit to the board and hitting a treble 19 on his third visit.

Kelleher won the leg with an unusual double-double finish, accidentally hitting double six when he was aiming at double ten and sealing victory with double four on his first attempt.

He enjoys watching darts and is a huge fan of Bunting, who recently revealed that Kelleher once approached him with an unusual request.

“I sent him a set of darts and a shirt the other day,” said Bunting. “He contacted me about nine months ago. He wanted a video for his brother, who plays in the lower leagues. He’s a big fan and they all went on a stag do in Bunting shirts.”
