Prime Video’s Reacher fanatics are on tenterhooks for updates on the fourth season of the edge-of-your-seat thriller, which was confirmed even before the nail-biting latest season dropped.
Alan Ritchson returns as the legendary drifter, this time partnering with the DEA to infiltrate undercover and locate a missing agent.
The season started explosively, featuring a jarring moment where Reacher seemingly thwarts an abduction but ends up killing a policeman by mistake.
However, it’s later revealed that it was all a ruse to infiltrate the stronghold of Zachary Beck (played by Anthony Michael Hall), a suspect drug trafficker tied to a murky individual from Reacher’s history.
With three episodes already inducing high-stakes tension, the season is set to unfold on Thursdays spanning into March. Prime Video has not just tantalised viewers with a confirmation for season four, but what can we expect from Reacher’s upcoming investigations?

The mastermind behind the franchise, author Lee Child held his cards close to the vest in an exclusive chit-chat with Screen Time, yet he did let slip that production for the series is forging ahead. “Oh yeah, all that stuff… we’re always well-prepared,” he remarked.
“So we’re ready to go on season four. Obviously, we can’t reveal anything yet, but it’s another good’un, I’ll tell you. It’s going to be great.”
Each new series of Reacher has consistently upped the ante, delving deeper into the backstory of our enigmatic ex-Military Policeman turned itinerant justice dealer.
This season, viewers can expect to see him square off against one of author Lee Child’s most formidable foes, the sinister Xavier Quinn (Brian Tee), who rises from the pages of the 2003 success, Persuader.

Details about the plot for the forthcoming season remain shrouded in secrecy, but Child left fans with a titillating teaser: “I’ll see you next year and we’ll talk about it,” making it clear that plans for Reacher season four are tracking well for its anticipated 2026 drop.
With an extensive catalogue of 29 books (and counting) by Child, speculations run rife about which instalment could form the basis for the new season’s narrative.
There’s a bevy of fan guesses – some claim the 19th novel, Personal, could be the pick, thanks to its links to the backstories explored in Persuader.

Other speculation hints at Tripwire for more of Reacher’s history or Running Blind featuring a chilling hunt for a serial killer connected to Reacher’s past, as probable front-runners.
Regardless of the choice, author Lee Child and showrunner Nick Santora are poised to deliver another heart-thumping adaptation for the screen.
Reacher season 3 continues Thursdays on Prime Video.
