Introduced in 1912 by French perfumer Robert Bienaimé, is reputedly the first multi-floral bouquet fragrance. Before its launch, floral scents were typically single-note or mixed with herbs and other essences.

This ‘enchanting’ perfume boasts a meticulously balanced blend of floral notes. It opens with top notes of bergamot, galbanum, tarragon and lemon, leading to a heart rich with jasmine, tuberose, lily of the valley, rose and ylang-ylang.

The scent settles into a sophisticated base of oakmoss, sandalwood, civet, cedarwood, musk, and tonka bean. Despite its status as a classic fragrance,, it remains surprisingly affordable.
