The melted hearts after a sweet interaction between him and a schoolboy went viral on social media.

The future King visited St Nicholas Catholic Academy in the city centre, where he was seen chatting to a group of year 5 students, including Mohammed, who was eager to ask him one particular question.
In a video shared by the school on its social media account, the youngster can be seen greeting the prince, who approached the students with a teacher.
Mohammed asked the royal: “Are you the king?”

The Prince of Wales quickly responded with ease: “No I’m not, I’m his son! What’s your name?” to which Mohammed told him his name.
The prince then asked the school boy about his day, saying: “Nice to see you! You had a good day at school?”
In the end, the two of them took a selfie together, with the student asking William to say “cheese”.
The school said in its X post: “Something to brighten up your day!!! So… one of our amazing year 5 Children managed to not only have a chat with @KensingtonRoyal , he also managed to get a selfie!”
Royal fans rushed to praise the Prince of Wales on how he handled the sweet encounter.

One user wrote under the video: “The first video is absolutely adorable!!! Our Prince of Wales is just the best.”
