Mum’s incredible method to remove burnt residue stuck to dishes – only takes 6 minutes

Struggling to remove those tough oil stains from your dish? 

Even the of cooks can’t prevent the occasional oil-splatter that can build up over time.

A mum, however, has shared her best method online for removing those burnt residues that just never seem to go away no matter how many times you clean the pan.

The user, called said: “Put some vinegar in it, microwave for 3 min and let it sit in the microwave.

“Wipe down the dish and the microwave. It’s how I clean my microwave when my kids explode something saucy in it and don’t clean it up and it just wipes right off.

“It’s important to let it sit in there a few minutes so the vinegar steam gets everything loose. And so the pan is not hot.”

Another known method is to combine the vinegar with baking soda and water to create a reaction.

The reaction is supposed to help the grease come off.

Then, scrub the pan once the fizzing reaction has taken place.

To avoid these stains in the future, line your oven tray and pans with baking paper or aluminium foil whenever you can and make sure you clean the pans after each use.

Soaking your oven tray in soapy water is another option whcih can help take the stains off without scrubbing too hard and damaging the dish or tray.

Pans with a non-stick coating can also prevent these stains as well as reusable tray liners that are more environmentally friendly.
