Honey garlic chicken is a popular meal option, thanks to its delicious flavours, and couldn’t be simpler.
The notes said: “’s sticky honey garlic chicken is an old family favourite that’s quick, easy and delicious.
“You can also use separate thighs and drumsticks.”
The serves six and takes less than one hour from start to finish, making it a super quick family meal.
They can be served cold for a picnic or a buffet or hot, along with some chips and salad.

Ingredients:
Six chicken legs
Six tablespoons of tomato ketchup
Two tablespoons of tomato puree
Two tablespoons of grainy mustard
Three tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
Two tablespoons of runny honey
One garlic clove, crushed

Method:
Using a sharp knife, make shallow slits on the top of the chicken legs, and arrange them in a shallow dish.
Measure all of the marinade ingredients into a bowl and stir together until well combined.
Pour over the chicken, toss to coat well and place the bowl into the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 220C/200C Fan or Gas 7 and line a roasting tin with baking paper.
Sit the chicken legs on top of the pre-lined tray or tin in a single layer to make sure they cook evenly.
Spoon over the marinade and roast for 35 to 40 minutes, or until sticky, golden-brown and cooked through.
