Limescale vanished from my shower head in 30 minutes when I used 1 natural item

Living in an area of like most of the UK, I suffer from a build-up of on my bathroom fixtures. It doesn’t take long for my shower heads – both detachable in some capacity – to look unsightly.

Not only does look grim, the hard water deposits can also block some of the shower jets resulting in a less powerful wash.

Not one to let limescale build up for too long, I decided it was time for a deep clean in my bathroom. Thankfully, a simple hack means there was hardly any effort required.

To remove limescale from my shower head all I needed to do was spray on some . My go-to is Astonish White Vinegar, which is widely available in supermarkets such as , and

My only gripe with the product is that I had to keep spraying the detached shower heads, which I put into a washing basin.

I would have rather poured the white vinegar onto the appliances straight from the bottle.

Regardless, I sprayed the white vinegar onto the detached shower heads inside of the basin and got on with other key household chores.

Within 30 minutes, I checked on the shower heads and gave them a quick wipe with a microfibre cloth under running water from the bath tap, and they were clean.

For even better results, it’s advised to store the shower heads in plastic bags full of white vinegar that you can tie up.

This might be a more effective method to remove limescale from bathroom shower heads.

However, to do this, you need to have a product that can be poured, and unfortunately, despite much effort, I couldn’t remove the spray bottle head.
